This might be dull, but I’d love to know more about your note-taking process. When you go down a rabbit hole, how and where do you document everything you’re reading in an organised and structured way?

Only first person connections to a story is a tough bar to clear for a journalist looking to contextualize a story … but also a great challenge for one to aim higher. What was your turning point in not wanting to use experts? (Or is that a future post idea?)
